It's All in the "Hattitude!"

Last year mom, my sister and I went to see Crowns the musical. We has such a great time. I have always loved see women in church hats. I grew up seeing my grandmother wearing matching hats and gloves. I confessed that "when I turn 30, I'm going to wear church hats and gloves." I never wore the gloves; but I do collect and wear hats. Not just church hats, but casual hats too. But nothing like sun visors or ball caps.

I've created several pages of me wearing church hats. The page below was created specifically for a Scraps of Color 2014 Weekly Blogger Challenge. This is the week 2: "It's All in the "Hattitude!"

These layouts were made from my stash of paper pads, scraps, and embellishments. One of my main crafting goals for 2014 is to use the supplies that I already own.

SOC CELEBRATE #8 BLOG HOP: DAY 3

WELCOME BACK to the Scraps of Color Celebrate #8 Blog Hop I've Been Accepted!!    I can remember when my daughter and I were reading about colleges and she told me that she only wanted to go to a Historically Black College or University (HBCU) .  I was thinking, praise God TSU (Tennessee State University) here she comes. DING-DONG-WRONG! She said that she wanted to go to Alabama A&M in Huntsville. Then the prayer wheel started turning. " Lord, you said that you would supply all of our needs according to your riches" and you said that "What things we desire, when we pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them".        Now, she had some struggles in high school and was at best a B- to C+ student . October 7, 2011: Scraps Of Color Breast Cancer Awareness Blog Hop!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month! So, in honor of this event--I, along with some talented crafter's, have teamed up to honor and celebrate the men and women in our lives that inspire us with their strength in the battle against Breast Cancer. Of course, a blog hop isn't complete without blog candy! There will be giveaways on various blogs throughout the hop! Plus, there will be an SOC blog hop gift awaiting one visitor!!
