Here we are; another season of giving, receiving, and sharing. Whether you call it Christmas time or the Holiday Season; it should be about the gift of love and forgiveness. I've always taught my children the real Christmas story and the tradition of gift giving. "Never ever give someone some junk just to say that you gave them a gift. Never give someone a gift to impress others. Never ever give with the expectation of receiving." From November thur January (the holiday season), my favorite bible passage is not the birth of Christ; but the passages that teach us to love as Christ loved. No one is perfect and we all have faults. I know it's easier said than done. I have an ex husband and a mean coworker, so I know that love and forgiveness is easier said than done.
