SOC Christmas in July Blog Hop: Day 2

Welcome to day 2 of the SOC "Christmas in July" Blog Hop Today and Tomorrow, I'll be sharing pages from an ongoing project of creating a random Christmas pages; of which I will also put on DVD to give to my family as gifts.  After I began scrapbooking full time and started showing books and cards to my family members and friends; they all wanted their own books. I did that for a while, and then I started to get behind on projects for my clients and personal projects. CHRISTMAS DVD COVERS Purchase a package of sturdy DVD sleeves or you can spend a little more and purchase the plastic DVD jewel cases. I choose to use the paper sleeves. I used 12 x 12 solid cardstock layers to make the sleeves more sturdy. I also used patterned 12x12 in non traditional colors; because that's how I roll (LOL). My Christmas in July 2013 My Pink Journey CHRISTMAS IN JULY: DAY 1 One Sunday night (I guess it was actually early Monday morning) in July, I had a bad case of insomnia and was fooling around on eBay.  I saw that there was a bid on a new Pink Journey Cricut Expression Bundle that was about to end and the price was like 40 bucks. I was like; No way. The Bundle included 3 cartridges; one of which was the Pink Journey Champagne Rose Solution cartridge.     Mrs. Pink1 I recently goggled the meaning of the color pink because a cashier admired my pink billfold matched my pink cell phone case which also matched my pink painted toenails. He said "you look very pretty in pink; I bet it's your favorite color..." Pink is my power color.
