SOC Sisters and Sisterhood Blog Hop: Pt 3

Hello Fellow Scrappers and Card Makers!  I've already introduced you to one of the four the ladies in my Sisterhood Pack.  Sister number 3 is my cousin Consuela "Sugar".  Gee, what can I say about "Sugar"...she is my BFF. We think alike, say many of the same things, say exactly what's on our minds, will shank somebody for talking about our mamas, disin' our kids, and love some fried chicken and turnip greens.  Sugar allows me to vent without making me feel like I'm not saved.  We made the same mistakes and can identify with each other with...stuff. yeah, stuff. We cry and shout through emails.  Other than my bio-sister Carolyn (#1), Sugar is my soulsister and best friend. Her only flaw is that she does not scrapbook! What's that all about!?   Supplies:  Printed cardstock from DCWV Nana's Kids. Ribbon from Paper Studio. Stickers from  Sticko and Paper Studio. Large flower Recollections. Button from Sticko Button Ups . Sister number

Sisters and Sisterhood

When sisters stand shoulder to shoulder, who stands a chance against us?  ~Pam Brown What Can I say about sisters and sisterhood?  My younger sister and I are very close. While growing up, times were sometimes hard and filled with tears.  The way we grew up; James and Florida Evans were rich.  We had a nice modest home in a new subdivision; but behind the closed doors of our nice home, we were lacking in several areas.  My dad was juggling 2 or more families and there was never enough money to make the ends meet. Nevertheless, me, mom and my sister trusted in the Lord.  I also have to older sisters that, regardless of the circumstances of our births, we are close.  A few years ago, I found that I had yet another sister. Don’t even ask… But, does blood relationships make you a sisterhood? I’ve read several definitions of sisterhood and looked at many sites on the subject.  (Please don’t look up Sistahood on the internet; you will get some pretty seedy links, NONE OF WHICH REFER TO ME
