RSC November Challenge

RSC recently held a Scraplifting Challenge. The ladies and I had a great time. The challenge consisted of 6 Dove Fall chocolates and scrapbooking magazines. Upon arrival, our guest were asked to choose a number and 6 chocolates. Each magazine had a preselected layout and a complete list of elements needed to complete the layouts. Each participant was given 3 hours to complete 6 layouts.

Challenge 1: "Scraplift" the selected layout. Colors and elements could be changed and long as the over all design was not compromised.

Challenge 2: Create 6 pages; one page for each chocolate selected

Challenge 3: Each completed page or 2 page layout MUST include the quote inscribed on the chocolate wrapper; ie "Take time to enjoy the falling leaves".

Great prizes were given to each participant. Not everyone completed 6 pages; but everyone received a gift for their hard work.

Scraps of Color "Christmas in July" Blog Hop: Day 1

My Christmas in July 2013 My Pink Journey CHRISTMAS IN JULY: DAY 1 One Sunday night (I guess it was actually early Monday morning) in July, I had a bad case of insomnia and was fooling around on eBay. WELCOME BACK to the Scraps of Color Celebrate #8 Blog Hop I've Been Accepted!! I can remember when my daughter and I were reading about colleges and she told me that she only wanted to go to a Historically Black College or University (HBCU) . October 7, 2011: Scraps Of Color Breast Cancer Awareness Blog Hop!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month! So, in honor of this event--I, along with some talented crafter's, have teamed up to honor and celebrate the men and women in our lives that inspire us with their strength in the battle against Breast Cancer. Of course, a blog hop isn't complete without blog candy! There will be giveaways on various blogs throughout the hop! Plus, there will be an SOC blog hop gift awaiting one visitor!!
