Breast Cancer Awareness Blog Hop

Every day of every month of every year, there is another empty place at the family table.  Breast Cancer is a relentless disease that does not care who's family has been effected; it's cruel disease.  How can we fight it effectively?  EDUCATION, FAITH AND HOPE are the tools needed to cure breast cancer.

Below  is a 2 page layout created with one of the over sized tags created from my previous post.

Over Sized Tags for 12 x 12 Lay-outs

Page 1: The oatmeal cardstock of from Core'dinating Core. The strips of ribbon are Paper studio and green glitter in the center of the Paper Studio printed paper is from the dollar bin at Michael's Crafts. The stamps are from Inkadinkado and the walnut ink is from Tsukinek.


 

Page 2: In addition to the same supplies as the tags and page 1; the die cut letters are from the Jubliee Celebration Cricut cartridge.  The butterfly is from the Storybook Cricut cartridge.

SOC CELEBRATE #8 BLOG HOP: DAY 3

WELCOME BACK to the Scraps of Color Celebrate #8 Blog Hop I've Been Accepted!!    I can remember when my daughter and I were reading about colleges and she told me that she only wanted to go to a Historically Black College or University (HBCU) .  I was thinking, praise God TSU (Tennessee State University) here she comes. DING-DONG-WRONG! She said that she wanted to go to Alabama A&M in Huntsville. Then the prayer wheel started turning. October 7, 2011: Scraps Of Color Breast Cancer Awareness Blog Hop!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month! So, in honor of this event--I, along with some talented crafter's, have teamed up to honor and celebrate the men and women in our lives that inspire us with their strength in the battle against Breast Cancer. Of course, a blog hop isn't complete without blog candy! There will be giveaways on various blogs throughout the hop! Plus, there will be an SOC blog hop gift awaiting one visitor!! To be eligible for that prize, you must comment on all the blogs by Monday, Oct. 10 at 11:00pm EST. The fight to find a cure for breast cancer is near and dear to my heart.
