Welcome Back!

It's been a while since I've updated my blog. A lot has been going on. I'm expecting my first grandchild in December from my middle son, my oldest son will be graduating from college in December 2014, and  my baby girl is now a Junior in college. Exciting things are happening; but the crafting is still going on. Royal Scrap Club is growing and all is well at Royal Scrap Club Central.

In the meantime, our 2014 Fall Crop is in about 4 weeks. I've been busy, busy crafting. My head designer and I have really been papercrafting.
Above are the banners that I made for the tables. I think they are very pretty.I'll give you a closer look. The best part is it was all created from my stash. The items are up to 5 years old.

FALL CROP BANNER
The first banner is the FALL CROP. This one will be displayed on the food table.  I used 4 Cricut Cartridges: Birthday Bash, Cricut Everyday, Pooh and Friends, and Kates ABC's.

I used ribbon and flowers from my stash. The banner shapes were 6 inches (not real dial).

The ribbon and fibers are all at least 5 years old. Do you remember when fibers were all the rage?

The patterned paper is also several years old; except for the black cardstock shadow.

Notice he tiaras attached to the letters. Those are my favorites. I can't remember what cart those came from.

The font is from Kate's ABC's

TREATS
This banner is for the desert bar. I have 30 years of baking and cake decorating experience; so the desert bar is my baby. This banner will be on the front of the bar.
I'm loving the concept of "Shopping from my Stash". The TREATS banner was created using 6 Cricut Cartridges; Birthday Bash Something to Celebrate, Sweet Treats, Pooh and Friends, Special Occasions and Kate's ABC's.

The ribbon and fibers are about 5 year or more old.

The candy die cuts are are from Something to Celebrate.

The banner is from Birthday Bash and cut at 6 inched (not on Real Dial)

The paper is Stampin UP! and is about 3 years old

The Tiara is from the Special Occasions Cricut Cartridge

The pumpkins are from Pooh and Friends

The cupcakes are from Sweet Treats

The Font is from Kate's ABC's

The candy corn is from K and Company

WELCOME
The welcome banner is for the registrar table. She is the BEST administrative executive any business could ever have. I'm not just saying that because she is my sister. This banner was created from 5 cartridges and a Swiss dot embossing folder. Cartridges used were Kate's ABC's , Picturesque, Cricut Everyday, Special Occasions, and Birthday Bash.

The ribbon is new and the fibers are 5 or more years old.

The siscors are from Cricut Everyday

The flowers are from Picturesqe

The bling is Paper Studio.

The font is from Kate's ABC's

Letters are embossed (can't remember the name)

The paper is from K and Company and reaaal old. More than 5 years.

The banner is from Birthday Bash

Yes this is my favorite of the three banners.

So what do you think of my Fall Crop Banners?

Scraps of Color "Christmas in July" Blog Hop: Day 1

My Christmas in July 2013 My Pink Journey CHRISTMAS IN JULY: DAY 1 One Sunday night (I guess it was actually early Monday morning) in July, I had a bad case of insomnia and was fooling around on eBay.  I saw that there was a bid on a new Pink Journey Cricut Expression Bundle that was about to end and the price was like 40 bucks. I was like; No way. The Bundle included 3 cartridges; one of which was the Pink Journey Champagne Rose Solution cartridge. So, I bid $56 and won the bid.  That was such a great deal simply because the Pink Journey cartridge sells for about that; at least on eBay.  Below is the layout that I created to commemorate the purchase LAYOUT 1 Solid Cardstock is Recollections Patterned Paper is Stampin Up! SOC CELEBRATE #8 BLOG HOP: DAY 3

WELCOME BACK to the Scraps of Color Celebrate #8 Blog Hop I've Been Accepted!!    I can remember when my daughter and I were reading about colleges and she told me that she only wanted to go to a Historically Black College or University (HBCU) .  I was thinking, praise God TSU (Tennessee State University) here she comes. DING-DONG-WRONG! She said that she wanted to go to Alabama A&M in Huntsville. Then the prayer wheel started turning. " Lord, you said that you would supply all of our needs according to your riches" and you said that "What things we desire, when we pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them".        Now, she had some struggles in high school and was at best a B- to C+ student . Even though she would study and work hard; she had trouble. School just did not come easy to her; but her common sense and work ethic was ON POINT. Believe that. Nevertheless, Alexis only applied to one school. She had faith that th

SOC Hot Fun in the Summertime Blog Hop

06/22/2012   Summertime Memories and Family      Aahhh, summertime is here. Summer has soooo many fun memories for me. From my earliest memories of playing in the sprinklers at my Madea's row home to picking beans and tomatoes at my granny and granddaddy's home. What is summer without your family? Family vacations, cookouts, pool parties, and decoration day at the family cemetery are the memories we need to preserve . For me its about family and the memories we are making for the next generation. Since I started scrapbooking seriously in 2003, I've become the keeper of the family photos.         What is your earliest summertime memory? Was it eating watermelon on the porch and spitting seeds? Was it a special summertime fling? Was it the first summer that your baby walked for the first time? I would love to know.  Family Fun in the Park.   Page 1 of 2 {Family cookout for my son before he went to college. This was his "Orange and White" party.} I di
