The Scrapbooking Sisterhoodof Delta Phi Scrappa

I recently attend the annual scrapbooking retreat for the sisters of Delta Phi Scrappa; based in Minnesota.  Delta Phi Scrappa is a sorority for scrapbookers.  Founded in 2005, Delta Phi Scrappa exists to bring women together for scrapbooking and sisterhood.  This is accomplished through retreats, meetings and special events throughout the year. Monthly events are held for the Nashville, TN Chapter, AKA Royal Scrap Club; Scrapbooking Club for Busy Women


I had the BEST time. I was there Thursday-Sunday.  Sharon James; the newest member of DPS Nashville, TN attended the retreat with me.  She and I had a blast and met so many wonderful people. We also participated in some boss indoor and outdoor activities.  One of the activities was a layout contest.  Below are some of layouts from the competition held on Sunday, February 3, 2013

    Thank you.we had Great time.the icing was when you ladies hummed the melody of our sorority song while Sharon sang.that was beautiful.I say and felt the love of Christ.

SOC CELEBRATE #8 BLOG HOP: DAY 3

WELCOME BACK to the Scraps of Color Celebrate #8 Blog Hop I've Been Accepted!!    I can remember when my daughter and I were reading about colleges and she told me that she only wanted to go to a Historically Black College or University (HBCU) .  I was thinking, praise God TSU (Tennessee State University) here she comes. DING-DONG-WRONG! She said that she wanted to go to Alabama A&M in Huntsville. Then the prayer wheel started turning. " Lord, you said that you would supply all of our needs according to your riches" and you said that "What things we desire, when we pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them".        Now, she had some struggles in high school and was at best a B- to C+ student . October 7, 2011: Scraps Of Color Breast Cancer Awareness Blog Hop!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month! So, in honor of this event--I, along with some talented crafter's, have teamed up to honor and celebrate the men and women in our lives that inspire us with their strength in the battle against Breast Cancer. Of course, a blog hop isn't complete without blog candy! There will be giveaways on various blogs throughout the hop! Plus, there will be an SOC blog hop gift awaiting one visitor!!
