Sports Pages

Scrapbooking for Men and Boys... Does it ever seem like scrapbooking for females is much easier than for males?  I recently contracted to create a football, faith, and family scrapbook. While, gathering my supplies, studying my Cricut booklets, and matching colors; I noticed that everything in my stash seem to be geared towards scrapbooking for females, babies, or families. Not so much for males and sports. Below is a sample of the Sports pages created for one of my clients. The young man featured on the sports pages is a talented football player whom played football Goodpasture Christian School. He is very well respected and is solid in faith and commitment to God and his family. It was a honor to create the keepsake for him and his family. This young man can really jump high. What Ever You Do...

Here we are; another season of giving, receiving, and sharing. Whether you call it Christmas time or the Holiday Season; it should be about the gift of love and forgiveness. I've always taught my children the real Christmas story and the tradition of gift giving. "Never ever give someone some junk just to say that you gave them a gift. Never give someone a gift to impress others. No one is perfect and we all have faults.  I know it's easier said than done. I have an ex husband and a mean coworker, so I know that love and forgiveness is easier said than done. Nevertheless as a Christian woman, it is within my power to do it. It's in your power too; just do it in the Name of Jesus. Get a song in your heart and just do it. Merry Christmas! Key:  And wh...

Cards...

Christmas Cards I've  never thought about making Christmas cards until I went to a crop and saw a card-making assembly line. From that moment, I began looking at handmade scrapbooking and card sites. So, guess what I’m doing…You got it. I’m making my own Christmas Cards. Because I have so much printed Christmas cardstock, I’m going to make 6 of each pattern and color. Because I like nontraditional colors, you may not see too much red and green.  Getting started... This is my first attempt at handmade cards. I  relied   heavily  on Cricut cuts and punches. "Trial and Error" are the key words for this project.  Cartridge used: Winter Frolic Punch used: Creative Memories  Stamp used: Recollections Printed Cardstock: DCWV Solid Cardstock:  Various Ribbon used: American Crafts rhinestones: Paper Studio Glitter glue: Sticlkes and Recollections One thing I noticed while making the die cuts, (in order to get the d...
